drive traffic to you site or blog. But here are a few things to avoid, spotted by Alex Aspinall in a recent post on b2bmarketing.net.

Getting it wrong can be a big marketing fail, you put in the effort or resources but the outcome can get you traffic or followers moving in the wrong direction.

He identifies five points but it is the last one that hits the nail on the head: be human.

 A good rule of thumb is; if you can’t imagine saying it to someone in real life don’t write it on Twitter

Add this to your check list before you compose your 140 characters and it will help you stay engaged with your audience.
